Hardware Overview
The GC75 is a standard 16 bit Type II PC Card. The card is standard length and only the antenna sticks out of the PC card slot. The amount of power from the laptop battery depends on several factors, such as status, frequency band, the distance to GSM base station and the number of time slots. See Technical Specifications on page 48 for a general guide for power. Before you can start with the GC75 you need the hardware to put together. You also need a SIM card.

The GC75 is a triple band GSM product that can communicate wirelessly from your laptop on all five continents, in over one hundred sixty countries. As the GC75 provides wireless communications you no longer need cables, telephone converters, chargers and batteries to carry. The GC75 is very easy to install and use, the included software allows you the best information made available to select, so that the GC75 is always available for data transfer.

The GC75 allows your laptop to:
- Browse the Internet
- Send and receive e-mails
- Receive information services in real time
- Access files, databases and discussion groups
- Edit SIM card entries
