The origin of the new Vantage Reverso watches can be traced back to 1931 when César de Trey, a Swiss pioneer figure in the history of Jaeger-LeCoultre, commissioned Parisian engineer-René Alfred Chauvot to develop a watch especially for the avid polo players.
