Power Ball Changes PDF Manual Guide – 4th January 2009
Powerball, the world’s best known jackpot lottery game, will be making changes to the game beginning January 4th, 2009. Powerball will increase the size of the average jackpot by removing some red ball numbers while adding white ball numbers to make it easier to win:
* The number of white balls will change from 55 to 59 and the number of red balls will be reduced from 42 to 39.
* The overall odds of winning any prize will be improved from one in 36.6 to one in 35.1.
