About Windows 2000/XP
Panasonic has performed operational tests on the Printing System using Office 2000/XP. However, the company does not necessarily guarantee normal operation of all applications under Windows 2000/XP. Panasonic has not register the Windows 2000/XP logo for this product. Therefore, during the installation a “Digital Signature Not Found” warning message will be displayed. Click the “Yes” button to acknowledge the warning message and continue with the installation.

Hardware Requirement PC : IBM PC/AT and compatibles (CPU Pentium II or greater). Operating System : Microsoft Windows 98, Me, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000/XP. System Memory : Memory recommended on each OS is 64MB or more (Windows 98/Me) and 128MB or more (Windows 2000/XP, NT 4.0) Free Disk Space : 40MB or more (Not including storage space of images for Image Overlay function) Interface : Bi-directional Centronics (ECP) compatible.

Install
Acrobat Reader 5.0 or greater is required and must be installed to view the operating instructions. Note: The easiest method to install an application in Windows 98/Me, 2000/XP or NT is to use the program’s autorun feature. Most of the applications written for Windows 98/Me, 2000/XP or NT have this ability to automatically run the setup program when you insert the CD-ROM into the computer. This method usually enables you to remove the program using the Add/Remove applet in the Control Panel. Insert the CD-ROM into your PC to display the installation screen. Select the Acrobat Reader installation if you do not have one already installed or yours is an older version.For the Printing System, follow the additional steps required to install the Windows printer. Read the printer’s operating instructions for more details.

Additional Information about the Printing System About Plug and Play
This printer driver is not Plug and Play-compatible. About setting of functions When the same function is allowed to be set by both application and printer driver, the priority of setting may be on the application side in some cases, and on printer driver side in other cases. About text, color images, and hatching Overlapped text, color images, and hatching may be invisible. This can be improved by adjusting the contrast and lightness [Halftone Color Adjustment] in the [Property], [Details], [Document Option] in the driver. About color text When color text other than black is printed using an application, it may not be printed well depending on the kind and size of the font used.
