Points of Interest (POI) list is a collection of thousands of interesting or useful places organized by easy-to-find categories. For example, you can use this device to guide you to a shopping mall, hotel, restaurant or gas station. Many sub-categories to ensure greater list of choices. For example, the station in May have many subcategories each representing a brand name.
The same goes for hotels. Restaurants have subcategories that represent different types of foods, like Indian, Italian and french. You can define a menu of destination, so that each time you tap the menu icon on the Map screen, the camera automatically calculates the route to that destination for you.
When you press the menu button for the first time, you can select a predefined address or a POI category. A favorite is an address or POI you have saved for easy retrieval. Save favorite addresses in your address book and, later, you can easily travel to these destinations. Favorites can be saved using the Actions button in the new address, and places recent POI screens. By default, your favorite will be placed in the favorite group. You can also create your own groups, for example, for a city or activity.
