Installation
Make sure that the synchronization utility (PC Suite) for smartphone connection with PC is installed on your PC. You can find this program on CD that is supplied with your smartphone.
It is necessary to install the following components:
1. SlovoEd dictionary engine;
2. One or more dictionary databases you want to use;
3. You can also install one or more sound modules.
There are two ways of SlovoEd dictionary installation.
Installation from the desktop computer

To install the SlovoEd dictionary engine, dictionaries databases and sound modules, please do the following:
1. Establish connection between your smartphone and desktop computer, using Bluetooth, Infrared port or cable.
2. Unpack zip-package on the desktop computer. In folder Program you will find the installation files (the dictionary engine, dictionary databases and sound modules). Do the following for each installation file:
- run installation file by double click;
- follow the installer instructions.
3. When installation is finished the SlovoEd icon should appear in the list of smartphone’s applications.
Installation from the device
To install the SlovoEd dictionary engine, dictionaries databases and sound modules, please do the following:
1. Unpack zip-package on the desktop computer. In folder Program you will find the installation files.
2. Copy the installation files to your smartphone (using Bluetooth, Infrared port or by some other method).
3. Do the following for each installation file:
- run installation file by joystick or choose Options>Open in smartphone’s menu;
- follow the installer instructions.
4. When installation is finished the SlovoEd icon should appear in the list of smartphone’s applications.

Uninstallation
You can remove dictionary database, sound module files and SlovoEd dictionary engine separately. When you remove one of the dictionary databases you can continue using SlovoEd with other dictionary databases. You should have installed at least one dictionary database to use program. To completely uninstall the program from the smartphone you need to remove all components: SlovoEd dictionary engine, all dictionary databases and sound modules. The dictionary engine is necessary for the SlovoEd usage. Do not delete it needlessly. Please refer to smartphone’s user manual for exact Uninstallation procedure. Demo-version limitations and registration The more you use an unregistered dictionary, the more you get the registration reminder message instead of translation. In case of sound module you will hear beeping instead of correct pronunciation. You have enter the registration code to get rid of these limitations. You will get this code by e-mail after purchasing.
Each dictionary database and sound module should be registered by its own registration code. Please be accurate when you type the registration code: do not mix up zero with letter O, you should not enter any unnecessary spaces in the input field.
