Nokia Mobile Suite Windows to Linux Server Migration PDF Manual Guide

This document is intended for system administrators and describes how to migrate from Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite from a Windows server to a Linux server. All configurations and existing user data in Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite for Windows is transferred to and stored in Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite on Linux by migrating from the following:
- Sybase ASA database
- Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite shared filesystem (SFS)

Before you start
Before you start the migration, make sure you meet all the following conditions.
- You must have an existing Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite Windows installation with a database and shared file system.
- You must Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite on Linux.
- Stop all the Nokia Intellisync Mobile Suite on the Linux computer using the following commands.
/ Etc / init.d / stop mobile suite
/etc/init.d/securegateway stop
/etc/init.d/asadb stop
