Make sure the following is done before shooting your Omega muzzleloader equipped:
• All base and ring screws should be tight. Loctite should apply if the manufacturer’s suggested scope mounts.
• The scope is in the rings that can correct eye relief. You should see a full field of view on what the gun to firing position. A good check of eye relief is close your eyes, shoulder the rifle, then open the eye and discuss the draft vision. You must have a full circular field of view at a time.
• The grid must be vertical. This can be ensured by locking the rifle in a headline or appropriate with a spirit level to make sure it sits square. Look through the scope on a flat surface known. Loosen the rings enough to be able to change the scope of the rings and the level of the horizontal section of the cross. This procedure is extremely important if the firearm is tilted. Swivel can have adverse effects on accuracy.
