Nikon M-22U Measuroscope QC-5200 Digital Camera PDF Manual
The Nikon M-22h Measuroscope is used for measuring the lateral distance between two elements on a substrate. The system makes use of video edge detection to reduce operator errors by removing inconsistencies ruling. Resolution is dependent on the magnification of the objective and nature of the search selected. Minimum resolution is 100 nm for 100x lens and video edge detection.
Video Edge Detection
- Detects the edges of the different variations in field intensity
- Should objective selection on the screen is the same as the objective in use.
Probes
• separate “fired” by the middle scroll button on your mouse.
• Continuous removed by selecting “continuous fire” on the menu created by right clicking on video.
To acquire points:
1. Select a measurement function (on the upper middle menu) or use Measure Magic
2. Select a probe
a. One of those listed above, or
b. New probe may be used when selecting one or more points, depending on when the measurement of a point, line, arc / circle (1, 2 or 3 points, respectively). The last point has to be ‘dragged’ on the edge of the mouse to the right probe.
3. Place the probe on the video image
4. Size of the probe
5. Select the direction of the scan (light to dark, dark to light, or the first edge)
6. Click the middle mouse button to fire
