When switching lists, the music menu number is displayed for approximately 2 seconds in the location where the song playback time is displayed, and then it returns to the display of the song playback time.If the DISC button is pressed for 1 second or longer, or 2 times within one second, the music menu switches 1 step at a time in the reverse direction indicated above. When switching the music menu, the music menu number is displayed for approximately 1 second in the location where the song playback time is displayed, and then it returns to the display of the song playback time.
Even if the DISC button is pressed for longer than 2 seconds, the music menu continues to change 1 step at a time. Although the list number display changes while the DISC button is being pressed, when the button is released, the list number becomes ‘1′ , and the music menu changes.
Depending on the audio unit, playback may begin from the displayed list number at the point the DISC button is released after being pressed for 1
second or longer while switching the menu. (Normally, playback is from list number 1)
Song Search (SCAN PLAY)
Press the SCAN button to play the first ten seconds of each song of all the songs on the list starting with the next song following the one currently being played. When the scanning function returns to the song where the SCAN button was pressed, normal playback resumes.
Notes
• If the scan button is pressed while in scan play, the scan play function is canceled and normal playback begins from the song where the SCAN button was pressed.
• During scan play, the song number where the scan was initiated flashes in the display. After that, the song number display is updated 5 songs from where the scan ended and the scan number, ”Song number-5 from scan start’ is displayed. (At this time, the song number may be different from the actual song number.)
• If the SCAN button is pressed during random play, random play is canceled and scan play starts from the beginning of the song currently being played. At this time, the random number where the scan initiated flashes in the display, and after the scanning ends, the display switches from the random number to the song number.
