Smart Tips: If you want to use Wi-Fi for browsing, make sure you have Wi-Fi indicator while browsing and stay under Wi-Fi coverage Please turn off mobile data connection to prevent handsets auto connecting to GPRS when moving out of a Wi-Fi coverage Please change Wi-Fi sleep policy to “Never”. Otherwise handset will auto connect to GPRS when the screen turns off.
Setup for Wi-Fi browsing:
1. 1. An H icon (HSPA)indicates GPRS data connection.
2. Press Menu key & select Settings
3. Go to Wireless & networks
4. Go to Wi-Fi settings
5. Press Menu & click on
6. Go to Wi-Fi sleep policy Advanced
7. Select Never
8. Back to Wireless & network settings to turn on Wi-Fi
9. Select the Wi-Fi Hotspot, e.g. PCCW
10. Confirm to connect to the PCCW Wi-Fi
11. Connected to PCCW Wi-Fi
12. Access to a website, e.g. Google

Hardware Overview
The GC75 is a standard 16 bit Type II PC Card. The card is standard length and only the antenna sticks out of the PC card slot. The amount of power from the laptop battery depends on several factors, such as status, frequency band, the distance to GSM base station and the number of time slots. See Technical Specifications on page 48 for a general guide for power. Before you can start with the GC75 you need the hardware to put together. You also need a SIM card.

ADSL DM111 Modem Device PDF User Manual
Connect your PC to the DM111 using the instructions provided. Note that if you lose your manual or the installation CD, the details of how to configure the modem are available underneath the device. Select the network adapter that is installed in your PC or Notebook, which will be used to connect to the modem.
Turn on your ADSL modem. Check that the modem has the connections, power, Ethernet and ADSL LED on the front must be green. Wait until the modem is configured with your ISP’s settings and logon is attempted. The LED flashes on the DM111 quickly. If your installation was successful, you receive the following message.
