Press thepower button to turn the device on or off. Press and hold the
powerbutton to dim the display. This is the power saver mode. Press and
hold again to light the display. Use Power Button tab to configure power
button to turn off power completely. This saves your battery power.
• When the device is connected to external power and the main battery is
fully charged, the power button light is solid green.
• When the main battery charge is low, the power button light flashes amber.
• When the battery is being charged, the power button light is solid amber.
• When the device relays a notification, the power button light rapidly
flashesgreen.

Using Cards
Your device has two slots located on the top of the unit. The larger slot
supports CompactFlash Type II cards. The smaller slot supports SecureDigital (SD) memory cards, Secure Digital I/O (SDIO) cards, andthe MultiMediaCard(MMC). All three memory card types are available in sizesfrom 64 MB to 1GB or 2 GB.

Resetting the Axim Soft Reset
When you do a soft reset, the device deletes any data or active programs
that has not been saved in the flash memory. In other words, your saved
files and programs are not deleted. Try a soft reset if the device does not
respond when you tap the display or press a button. The soft reset is
disabled when Axim is in full power off mode.

The Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system comes with a host of new features and interface improvements. The screen view and touchpad is similar to Windows™ XP for computers. RAM is only used for running applications. Flash ROM is where all application, PIM data, and file storage happens.
