D-Link La Fonera Router and X-Box Setup PDF Manual

The only change I made to my D-Link 624 router for 64-bit WEP encryption. All other settings remain the default state, except port forwarding. Why did not I at a higher encryption? Because I live in a neighborhood where the nearest house is 15 meter away and could hardly reach the network. Moreover, if it did reach them they could not join the network because it is safe. If they really that poor access to internet and wanted cracked, the 64-bit key, it would appear in my logs and I could then change or let for all their hard work.

1. Log in op de La Fonera router. 2. Administratie Tab – Fabrieksinstellingen subtabblad 1. Restore Factory Defaults: Ja 2. Klik op “Save Settings” – triggers reboot. 3. Router IP wordt nu 192.168.1.1 als het niet heeft gedaan. Dit was een zeer belangrijke stap. 3. Draadloze verbinding naar de router. 4. Setup Tab – Basisinstellingen subtabblad 1. Connection Type: Automatic Configuration – DHCP 2. STP: Disable 3. Router Naam: BRIDGE – Optionele Instellingen 4. Host Name: BRIDGE – Optionele Instellingen 5. Domain Name: blank 6. MTU: Auto 7. Network Setup – Router IP 1. Lokaal IP-adres: 192.168.0.10 (veranderd naar de belangrijkste wedstrijd router subnet) 2. Subnetmasker: 255.255.255.0 3. Gateway: 192.168.0.1 (IP van de router uw wil om verbinding te maken) 4. Lokaal DNS: 192.168.0.1 (IP van de router uw wil om verbinding te maken) 8. DHCP-Type: DHCP Server 9. DHCP Server: Disable 5. Klik op “Save Settings” – triggers reboot.
