Olympus VG-160 14 MP Slim Digital Camera
Olympus will be preparing to launch a new camera point-and-shoot, the Olympus VG-160. This budget-friendly camera is to provide simplicity and quality at low prices. Comes in four colors [silver, black, red and orange], VG-160 digital compact camera will be available in February 2012 and the expected price is only $ 99.99 [bundled with the camera strap].
VG-160 Olympus camera has a 14MP sensor 1/2.3 inch CCD, 5x optical zoom lens [26mm wide angle], and 4x digital zoom. The new Olympus camera is packed by the body slim budget of only 19.3mm thick [Dimensions 96 x 56.5 x 19.3 mm and weighs 125g]. The new VG-160 camera features Auto mode [iAuto] Smart [with 29 built-in scene], Shadow Adjustment Technology, AF Tracking, Face Detection and function.
Like the SZ-12 camera, the Olympus VG-160 provides Magic Art Filters to add special effects to photos without connecting to any computer.
