Epson VS200 Portable Projector
>Epson has recently launched their latest portable projector, which is known as the VS200. In terms of specs, this projector is 2300 lumens output package, a USB cable and AC power connectivity, 800 by 600 pixel resolution [SVGA] and 4:3 aspect ratio. However, this device also has a unique feature called “play plug ‘n’”, which allows a laptop or PC to automatically recognize image projector and displaying through it and on screen when plugged into the VS200.

Furthermore, the VS200 is measured at 3 x 12 x 9 inches, weighs 5.1 pounds and can only increase if you are willing to take and move closer or farther from the screen. Besides this, worked well with the [auto-resize] output as high as 1400 x 1050 and comes with 15-video jacks and S-Video. The projector even has the option of instant off, allowing you to turn off the device without requiring the cooling time. Epson claims that the three LCD design uses 25 percent less energy than a regular one projector DLP chip with the same output.
Interestingly enough, VS200 comes from the same product line with previously released VS400, a 4000-lumen projector with XGA resolution seen earlier this year at $ 999. Nevertheless, Epson VS200 significantly more affordable and is currently available for $ 429. [via image-acquire]
