Archos 7 Home Tablet With Android 2.1
Archos 7 Home Tablet is something that is disappointing, and Archos has shipped things bigger and better since, but the company is not done with the original slate Android is not quite affordable.

We have confirmed with the Archos that “v2″ revision now shipping in Europe with a genuine lack of three things – an accelerometer, a relatively new version of Android [2.1] and Rockchip 800MHz CPU. Make no mistake, they are still budget specifications, and you’ll almost certainly still have to hack the Android Market on your own to get the full quota of applications, but not like you pay more for extra oomph.
The latest version has been seen on Expansys for $, the same 200 who actually might make one tablet bang-for-money-best out there. Look how far we’ve come. [via engadget]
