HDD Installation & Replacement The Z71 Series Notebook uses an industry-standard 2 ½ “HDD with IDE interface. You can use the HDD to a capacity of your choice in our approval and prior test. Installing HDD steps:
1. Turn off the laptop and remove battery first.
2. Remove the 2 screws on the bottom and remove the hard drive cover
3. Remove 1 screw (M2 * 6 (K) and remove the handle then pull the HDD Housing.
