with an innovative and performance-leading design.

Open the inMotion iM600 by pressing the button on the front of the speaker system. Position the inMotion iM600 on a level surface, preferably close to you (within three feet). adapter is not required for proper functioning of your iPod and iM600, it will provide a better fit.

Diagnostic Tools This section describes the following diagnostic tools you can use for troubleshooting and repairing the notebook: • e-Diagtools diagnostic program (below). • Sycard PCCtest 450 PC Card (page 3-26). • BIOS configuration utility (page 3-27).

e-Diagtools Diagnostic Program The e-Diagtools hardware diagnostic program provides two levels of testing: • Basic user-level hardware test. • Advanced individual hardware tests.

The tests are designed to run after the system restarts, so that the notebook will be in a predictable state during the tests. The tests are non-destructive, and are intended to preserve the state of the notebook. The notebook restarts when you exit the program so drivers can be loaded.

Updating e-Diagtools You can download the latest version of e-Diagtools from the HP Notebook web site (see page vi). Follow the instructions included with the new version.
