Connection to the Computer
1. Plug the power supply into an AC outlet and connect the power cable to the drive
2. Decide which interface cable you will use:
A. eSATA Connection:
Connect the eSATA cable to your computer and to ACDUES350F.
B. USB 2.0 Connection:
Connect the USB 2.0 cable to your computer and to ACDUES350F..
NOTE:
If both a USB and an eSATA cable are connected, the USB connection will remain active and the eSATA connection will be disabled.
3. Turn on the drive by moving the power switch on the back to the ON position.
4.Push the reset button to reset the setting of HDDs.
5.The device will restart automatically and OS will recognize the HDDs
6.Refer to “Partitioning & Formatting” chapter to format the disks
The ACDUES350F is pre-congured in SPAN/BIG mode. If you would like to change the RAID mode, please see the RAID Setting & Configuration section (pg.13)

3.3. Installing on Windows2000
A. When you execute the Tdr160e.exe file, the files are extracted. follow the Setup Wizard.
B. Click on the Start button, and then click on Settings ? Printers.
C. Double click on the Add Printer icon.
D. [Add Printer Wizard] will be displayed.
E. Select [Local printer] and uncheck [Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer] box, and then click [Next>].
F. Select the port(s) that you want to use for the printer, and then click on Next.
G. Click the Have Disk button.
H. Type in the pathname which is specified at A. (Default: C:\Tmdrve\WIN2000). Then click on OK.
I. Select the printer driver you wish to install, and then click on the Next button.
J. Select whether or not to print a test page, and then click on Finish,
K. Click [Yes] on [Digital Signature Not Found] dialog box.
L. When installation is finished, an icon with the name of the newly installed printer driver will appear in the Printers window.
M. If you can not print correct using test page, please make sure the setting of following points are as same as the setting of connected device.
- Is the port you are connecting correctly? (COM, LPT)
- Particularly in the case of a serial connection, are the communications conditions set correctly?

INSTALLING THE EPSON TM-T88II RECEIPT PRINTER For Windows Xp
1. Select Run from the Start Menu.
2. Click on the Browse Button.
3. A box will appear prompt for a file to be selected.\
4. From the Look in option located at the top of the box select the CD- Drive, This is usually the (D:) drive.
5. A list of directories should then appear in the larger box on the screen. From this box Double Click on the Epson Xp Drivers option.
6. A file should then appear in the same box called “ADT203dE.exe”, select this file by clicking on it once, then click on the Open button located in the bottom right corner of the screen.
7. You should now have returned to the Run option that appeared in Item 1, however this time a file name should appear in the Open prompt line. Click on the OK button.
8. Click on the Next Button
9. Click YES to accept the licensing agreement.
10. From the list of printer drivers, scroll down to find the printer “Epson TM-T88ii ® Receipt, click on the box located to the left of the name
to ensure a ? appears in the box.
11. Click on the Next button.
12. Click on Next Again.
13. On completion a box will appear requesting whether you wish to restart your computer, Select the Option “No, I will restart my computer later.”
14. Click Finish. To complete the installation process.

To install the battery pack VGN-A700 Series models
1 Turn off your computer and close the LCD screen lid.
2 Slide the LOCK/UNLOCK switch (1) on the bottom of the computer to the UNLOCK position.
3 Slide the RELEASE switch (2) on the bottom of the computer to the RELEASE position.
5 Slide the battery in the battery compartment cover.
6 Turn over the battery attached to the battery compartment cover.
7 Insert the tab on the battery compartment cover into the notch, and push the battery down into the compartment until it clicks into place.
8 Slide the LOCK/UNLOCK switch to the LOCK position to secure the battery on the computer.

Using the battery (optional)
The lithium-ion rechargeable battery comes with the HP Deskjet 450CBi printer. It is also available for purchase as an optional accessory (part number C8222A, see HP Supplies and Accessories). Battery safety Use only the C8222A battery with the printer. The lithium-ion rechargeable battery is mercury-free. The battery may require recycling or proper disposal at end-of-life. When discarding a battery, contact your local waste disposal provider regarding local restrictions on the disposal or recycling of batteries. Battery may explode if incorrectly replaced or disposed of in fire. Do not short-circuit. To purchase a replacement battery, contact your local dealer or HP sales office. See HP Supplies and Accessories. To avoid risk of fire, burns, or damage to your battery, do not allow a metal object to touch the battery contacts. Do not disassemble the battery. There are no serviceable parts inside. Handle a damaged or leaking battery with extreme care. If you come in contact with the electrolyte, wash the exposed area with soap and water. If it contacts the eye, flush the eye with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention. Do not expose the battery to storage temperatures above 122°F (50°C) or below 4°F (-20°C).
